Michelle Williams was born in Kalispell, Montana, got her first acting credit for 2 episodes of Baywatch (1993-1994 tv drama), her first film was Lassie (1994 adventure), and since appearing in Dawson’s Creek (1998-2003 tv drama) she has earned 4 Oscar nominations. Best Actress in a Lead Role for Blue Valentine (2010 romance with Ryan Gosling) and My Week with Marilyn (2011 drama with Eddie Redmayne), and in a Supporting Role for Brokeback Mountain (2005 romance with Heath Ledger) and Manchester by the Sea (2016 drama with Casey Affleck). Often appearing in dramatic and romantic productions, Michelle can portray complex characters that are more than just the love interest and is getting the chance to since moving from tv to mostly movies. Williams has worked with a number of veteran female actors, and has appeared in films such as Halloween H20 (1998 horror with Jamie Lee Curtis), Dick (1999 comedy with Kirsten Dunst), If These Walls Could Talk 2 (2000 romance with Vanessa Redgrave), and Imaginary Heroes (2004 drama with Sigourney Weaver).
