What I am Watching

Here is a list of new films I have seen in theatres and the order in which I would go back to watch them again. What do you think of the order? What would you recommend that is not listed?

The Greatest Showman
Thor: Ragnarok
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Black Panther
Molly’s Game
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Blade Runner 2049
The Post

I really enjoyed the soundtrack to The Greatest Showman, Thor: Ragnarok let Chris Hemsworth be funny, and Frances McDormand was amazing as a headstrong mother in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Everyone can find something fun in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Black Panther delivers a great stand alone story set within the Marvel universe, and Molly’s Game had Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba shine fleshing out writer/director Aaron Sorkin’s vision. Star Wars: The Last Jedi continued the long running sci-fi spectacle, Blade Runner 2049 did more than just not disappoint fans of the original but created some amazing visuals, and The Post gave Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, and Steven Spielberg a reason to make a film together and include modern political messages inside it.

Here is a list of tv shows I am watching and the order in which I am looking forward to seeing more episodes. What do you think of the order? What would you recommend that is not listed?

The X-Files (1993-ongoing)
Arrested Development (2003-ongoing)
Vikings (2013-ongoing)
The Office (2005-2013)
Grimm (2011-2017)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987-1996)
Game of Thrones (2011-ongoing)
The Walking Dead (2010-ongoing)
Dark Angel (2000-2002)

The X-Files has always been my favorite show and I am enjoying the 10 episode season 11 currently airing, Arrested Development is the funniest show and has a season 5 coming soon, and Vikings is fun for the brutal action, a talented ensemble cast, and beautiful landscapes and costumes. The Office makes me laugh almost steady, Grimm is a fun police procedural with a twist of the supernatural, and TMNT is my favorite cartoon ever since I was a kid. I have seen all of Game of Thrones and 1 season of The Walking Dead, but they both have yet to really pull me into their world. Same could be said of Dark Angel and why I haven’t finished the second (and last) season starring a young Jessica Alba with creator/producer James Cameron.
